Our Compassion Choir meets a few times throughout the year as a ministry to organizations outside of UUCF. This opportunity is open to any member of the UUCF Community Chorale.
Singers respond to the needs of the community outside of UUCF by reaching out and inquiring ways that our ministry can support their community. Singers engage in community building through dialogue with non-UUCF members, singing music that appeals to various populations, wearing costumes if relevant, hosting singalong gatherings, doing arts and crafts, or other various asks that have included beverage service, compassionate interactions and assisting employees of facilities in transport.
Singers do not dictate the events, rather we reach out to communities and discern how we can bring our willingness and energy to support others.
